The little kid sheep riding was my favorite!! I had never heard of that before. Some kids stayed on for a while! It was hilarious!!!

The calf round up was also hilarious watching all the kids try to get the dollar bills off him!
So, one day Justin and I wanted to go to Egian Lake to play in the water. It was always a free place to go and about a 20 minute drive away. We were so excited to finally cool down from the hot summer. BUT, when we got there we discovered that the rangers built a pay station and it cost $5 to get it! Apparently they are making changes and renovating or whatever and are now charging people! We didn't know...and of course had NO CASH :( Do we drive all the way home and get money or just go home? We were so sad!! Then, we suddenly had the bright idea to look in our spare change thing in the center console and low and behold.....$5 in quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies! We pulled it off and were able to have a fun day :)

The whole lake is only ever this high so we explored the whole lake and some islands.
Oddly enough there were "seashell" things in the lake
The lake is by the sand dunes and boy did we wish we had one of those dune buggies!
After playing at the lake, we went to the dunes to make a bonfire and roast some hotdogs

We finally finished the nursery! Justin's mom made all the cute decorations and the bedding! And my mom bought the mattresses and covers for the crib and changing table. We have the best moms ever! :)
The food was delicious and everything was decorated so cute!
